Zowie Inbox 2.0
My comprehensive redesign for
a refreshed work experience.
Inbox 2.0 is out most comprehensive yet Inbox redesign that overhauls the Inbox UI to make it look modern, less crowded and more fun to work with. The redesign includes a number of UX improvements.
In my role as a Lead Product Designer, I assumed responsibility for developing design concepts from the ground up, aligning them with user feedback and business objectives.
My Role & Contribution
Inbox 2.0 addresses several key issues in the current version, including performance concerns where 38% of our Inbox users report sluggish operation, notably in navigating between tickets and closing them. Furthermore, it tackles UI problems related to information overload, cluttered screens, limited message visibility on a single screen, and inconsistencies in fonts and colors across inbox elements.
Problem
Our success metrics include achieving an Inbox rating of 4.5 out of 5 through Sprig survey, compared to the existing rating of 3.3 out of 5. Additionally, we aim to reduce agent handling time by 2-3% following the implementation.
